San Tommaso

Came here a couple of times during our trip to Valencia. Extremely good Italian food and there’s a choice of pasta and pizza for every taste! I would say that it gets really busy on week end nights so do look into booking a table for these nights (will still have to wait a bit even with a reservation). Otherwise during weekdays we got lucky and were sat right away! The carpaccio was incredible as was the pasta and pizza!

Everything was absolutely delicious! The pizza was made with top-quality ingredients, and the pasta dishes were excellent. We tried the pesto pasta, and though I can’t recall the name of the second one, both were truly delicious. We also really enjoyed the drinks. To top it off, they surprised us with complimentary shots at the end I think they were lemon based and they were very refreshing. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend it if you are craving Italian food while in Spain!

I enjoyed my lunch at San Tomasso on a cold, rainy Sunday. It was an elaborately decorated restaurant (check out the attached media), with very competent and fluent English speaking staff members. I had some questions about my menu and they were able to modify a dish to comply with my dietary restrictions. This would have been an uphill battle if there was a language barrier added to the complexity (of asking for specific ingredients used in the food). Apparently many celebrities have visited this spot (even Keanu Reeves). Staff members were very professional, attentive and made me feel welcome in their fine establishment. I enjoyed the Arabiatta with chicken, it was the right level of tomato and heat for my palette. Local draft beer was nice too. The 'pezzo forte' to me was post meal Tiramisù, a good way to finish my meal here. I will give top marks to the support staff (waiters and their chief) for doing an outstanding job running the place, keep up the great work!

I loved the Pizza at San Tommaso. Very authentic, original and rich. Recommended. The location is fantastic - at the middle of the historic part of Valencia (Carmen). The interior design is very nice. The staff are very professional & friendly. A very special thanks to Mr. Benito from Napoli, who was an important part of my beautiful experience at San Tommaso.

I went here a couple of nights before my marathon on the weekend and was served by Tomas, who was really friendly and helpful with suggesting just how much food to order (stopped me from bursting). The meal was delicious (had the meatballs as a starter and pizza as the San Tommaso pizza as a main) and were good sized portions at good value (whole meal cost €39 excluding tip). I went the next day and this time had pasta, but the portion wasn’t as large as I’d have liked. Looking at other people’s food (including those at my table) this didn’t seem to be the case with other pasta and it was lovely despite the size. My friends and I went for the cured meat and cheeseboard to start which really hit the spot, as well as the tiramisu I had afterwards. Would really heavily recommend, but would perhaps say to go for the pizza over pasta if you’re hungry and note that it’s worth queuing if you haven’t booked as they have space for walk-in’s.

Mauri looked after the 3 of us really well. We had freshly cut cheese & cold meats, pink Bobal and 3 pizzas. The quality was 10/10. We had lemonade to finish a perfect meal. I've been 10? times and it has never disappointed.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to! We visited La Finestra while in Valencia and were blown away. The Caprese was amazing, and the pizza is honestly the tastiest I’ve ever had. You can really taste that they use beautiful, high-quality ingredients. The staff was also very nice and friendly. Highly recommended!

Our waiter Donato was helpful, friendly and guiding us expertly thru the menu choices. Everything delicious. We started with the Pompeyo con salsa tomate and the pine nuts in the meatballs was a happy surprise, the tomato sauce was rich and fresh. We also had the grilled shrimp which had a lovely dusting sautéed breadcrumbs. The tomato salad with buratto cheese was also delicious. The choices of pasta sauces and pizza was amazing. Well worth a visit, plan to reserve a table in advance.
